Welcome to SIPnHike. This policy explains how the SIPnHike web app handles information when you visit and use our calculators and blog.

• No account data: We don’t require sign‑up or collect your name, email, or contact details on the site.
• No location or push: We don’t request precise location or use browser push notifications.
• Local preferences only: Calculator preferences (currency, locale, theme, and notification toggles) are stored in your browser’s localStorage under the key appSettings. This never leaves your device.
• Usage analytics: We use Firebase Analytics to measure anonymous, aggregated usage (e.g., page views and feature events). This helps us improve the product. Certain feature interactions may include non‑identifying calculator context solely for diagnostics (for example, when requesting AI recommendations we log the selected investment type, amount, expected return %, and period years). Page view events include the current URL, which may contain calculator parameters in the query string. We do not associate this with a user account.

We use Google AdSense to serve ads on some pages. Google may use cookies or similar technologies to deliver, measure, and personalize ads where applicable. You can manage ad personalization in your Google account.

• Firebase Analytics: Used for aggregated usage metrics. We do not use Analytics to identify you.
• Firebase App Check: Our public blog API is protected with App Check (reCAPTCHA). Your browser may complete an integrity check to prevent abuse; this is not used to personally identify you. An App Check token is sent as a header to our Cloud Functions endpoint to validate the request and is not retained beyond processing the request.
• Hosting and Functions: The site runs on Firebase. The public blog API is read‑only for visitors and does not accept personal data.

The AI-curated mutual fund recommendations provided in the app are for informational purposes only and do not constitute financial advice.

• Recommendations are generated using historical and publicly available data and may be incomplete or outdated.
• AI can be inaccurate; please verify independently and do your own research before opting for any mutual fund.
• Past performance is not indicative of future results.
• Mutual fund investments are subject to market risks. Read all scheme-related documents carefully.

• We do not set first‑party cookies for user accounts or tracking.
• Preferences are stored only in localStorage; clearing your browser storage resets them.
• Third‑party services such as Google AdSense may set cookies as part of ad delivery.

SIPnHike is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
